Reconstructing Lives through Innovative Treatment Solutions
Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, a private substance abuse facility located in Baltimore County, Maryland, offers an innovative treatment approach to issues of drug and alcohol abuse. With an individualized comprehensive approach to substance abuse, Maryland Addiction Recovery Center offers addiction treatment services in a safe and comfortable setting, including opiate detox, individual and group therapy, family counseling for both patient and family, dual diagnosis, case management and life skills training, and recovery resource services. Addiction is a disease, and quality treatment is necessary to facilitate a successful and sustainable recovery. With a proven treatment philosophy based on the three necessary components of successful addiction treatment (medical, psycho-therapy and case management/social work services), Maryland Addiction Recovery Center offers any patient and their family the highest quality of addiction treatment and an excellent opportunity to start a new life that is free from alcohol and drugs.
For those patients in need of detoxification from drugs and alcohol, Maryland Addiction Recovery Center offers a safe and comfortable medically supervised detox under the care of the center’s Medical Director. Upon entering treatment, each client is evaluated by the Medical Director to gain insight about their medical history, current use and abuse of drugs and alcohol and detoxification needs. At that point, the client is provided treatment through the use of appropriate medication and/or referred to off-site medical specialists.
MARC’s Extended Care treatment is a Day/Night Treatment model that combines the latest clinical modalities, evidence-based therapies, and 12-Step principles. Patients receive treatment at MARC’s clinical campus, where they take part in holistic and comprehensive treatment in the form of individual, group, and family therapy, intensive case management, and a unique vocational/educational program while living in the fully-staffed MARC Community Living residence.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) averages 12 weeks in length based on each individual client's needs and focuses on the treatment of drug addiction and substance abuse, chemical dependency, and co-occurring disorders. The IOP treatment program is composed of multiple group sessions and at least one individual session per week with a primary therapist.
Maryland Addiction Recovery Center recognizes how crucial it is to engage family members and significant others in the treatment and recovery process. The importance of examining family systems and challenging self-deception of family dynamics justifies a strong family program and arrangement of services.
It is impossible to properly treat substance abuse, addiction or chemical dependency without first knowing the correct level of care that a patient needs. Maryland Addiction Recovery Center offers alcohol and drug assessments and evaluations by a licensed clinician that may be used to determine appropriate level of care as well be used when appropriate in other areas including medical, legal, and employment.
As the founders of Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, we feel a passion for offering a high quality of treatment to those in need. As three people in recovery ourselves, we feel we've created a unique, innovative treatment program combining our experience in personal recovery and working in the field of treatment.
