The 2016 Chenango County Tax Sale Rebid will consist of 16 parcels throughout Chenango County.

Bids must be submitted to Chenango County Delinquent Tax Services by 5:00pm on October 5, 2016 and will be opened by Finance Committee on October 7, 2016 at 10:00am.

Chenango County (County) has completed its Draft Local Solid Waste Management Plan (LSWMP). A link to the LSWMP is available below.

The purpose of the LSWMP is to identify the path to pursue for managing solid waste generated in the County during a ten (10) year planning period. The LSWMP provides policy and program direction to reduce waste generation, increase recovery and decrease disposal in an economically and environmentally-sound manner that is consistent with New York State’s solid waste management policy.

Written comments will be received until December 15, 2015. Comments can be submitted by email to [email protected] (please include your name and address with your comments).
