Fighting For Those Who Fought For Us

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley provides community-based assistance to populations in need so that they can lead self-fulfilled, independent lives.

Heart That I Call Home was composed by local singer/songwriter Tim McGlone for Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. His inspiration for the song was the people we have the privilege of serving; those most in need in our area. It was premiered live at the Red Carpet Gala on February 22nd 2015.

A few years ago, Benjamin and Kelly Williamson were living a relatively comfortable life in West Deptford, NJ with their four children. It wasn't until Benjamin had to resign from his job at a refinery, that their life would be turned upside down.

Looking for volunteer opportunities? We can help. VOADV offers individuals looking to make a difference in the community a chance to give hope to someone in need. Whether it's planting a garden for one of our three family shelters or planning a birthday party for a homeless child, there are numerous ways you can give back.
