Sitka Counseling and Prevention Services, Inc is a non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation. Our primary purpose is to prevent and reduce the harmful effects of mental illness/substance abuse in the lives of youth, adults, and families. We do this by providing caring, professional, therapeutic, and preventative services.

Sitka Counseling serves a geographical area encompassing Sitka, Baranof Island and Yakutat. We accept referrals from other treatment centers, governmental agencies, and court systems from across the State of Alaska.

Sitka Counseling offers a variety of outpatient treatment services to assist adults, children and families with behavioral health issues and substance use disorders. We also provide a variety of services for those persons who are experiencing disabling or long-term mental health problems. The diverse backgrounds, orientation and specialties of our staff enable us to provide an individual approach to the problems that confront our clients. The Mental Health is a comprehensive diagnostics and treatment for all members of the family. The Substance Use Disorder services for clients assessed with ASAM I to III.I levels of care along with wrap around service during and after treatment.
