Looking for a full time adolescent Drug & Alcohol Counselor to work as a f acility manager with young adults ages 12 – 17.  The position requires a minimum Associate’s degree in a behavioral sciences field and/or 2 – 3 years experience in behavioral sciences field (adolescent drug treatment preferred) and an AOD counseling certificate. Must have the ability to use good judgment and follow treatment philosophy. 

Must have a valid CA driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass background checks through Department of Justice, FBI and Child Abuse Index, and pass drug screen.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, direct supervision for and protection of up to 6 adolescents at inpatient residential treatment program; assist in providing various treatments including group, individual and family therapies; accurately document the daily activities and progress of residents; be consistent in following all safety procedures at all times; assist with day to day operations of the program; participate and be an active team member in treatment plan of each resident, and serve as a positive role model.
