Our participants report average satisfaction rates of 95%, have a high rate of program completion (30 days minimum) and experience very low relapse rates.  While our two full-time private chefs, daily health club excursions, equine therapy, yoga classes and Tai Chi are all extremely popular, we believe that our patient-centered approach to treatment is what ultimately makes the difference.  Current research on addiction recovery shows that individual counseling is one of the most important components of a successful recovery program, and for this reason we offer individual therapy at least 2 – 3 times per week on average, and more often if needed. Our clinical staff is made up a of Psychiatrist, a Physician who is board certified in Addictionology, certified addiction counselors and master’s level therapists who are all experienced in treating individuals who are also dual or multi-diagnosed.  With over 65% of individuals with an addiction also suffering from a mental health disorder, any program that does not have at least one Psychiatrist and full-time masters level therapists on staff cannot not help you if there is a possible co-occurring mental health issue contributing to your addiction. At New Dawn, mental health therapists can diagnosis and treat both your addiction and your co-occurring disorder, such as: anxiety, depression, anger management, mood swings, personality disorders, and bipolar disorder. This ability to treat more than just the addiction translates into much higher rates of success and reported happiness by our program graduates.

While close to 70% of addiction treatment centers in the United States base their clinical approach on the 12-step support model (AA & NA), our drug rehab centers and eating disorder treatment programs utilize evidence-based approaches to therapy. This approach involves using clinically proven treatment modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  Weekly Family therapy groups and individual sessions, and customized individual therapy plans are another core aspect of our drug rehab and eating disorders recovery programs. Lifetime aftercare lead by licensed facilitators, as well introduction to both 12-step and other outside support groups help encourage lasting recovery long after program completion.
