Nala is our certified therapy dog who contributes daily to our mission of helping individuals and their families struggling with addiction. With her joyful personality, Nala provides a comforting presence and a reassuring sense of security and support—especially for those in the early stages of recovery or for patients dealing with grief, anxiety or depression issues. In her free time, Nala lives with her primary care provider, Danielle Schwegman, Addiction Counselor 2, at Hazelden's Springbrook campus in Newberg, OR.
