For over 50 years the Gooden Center has been providing alcohol and drug rehab in the Los Angeles area. The Gooden Center offers a rare environment created specifically for men who are on their road to recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.

Nestled in a historic area of Pasadena, the Gooden Center creates a quiet reprieve from the difficulties of everyday life. Our rehab center is one of the most affordable in the country. We offer partial scholarships for men who qualify and also accept most insurance plans. The Gooden Center has met extensive business and clinical standards to become fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

We understand that every journey to sobriety is unique to the individual. We encourage family members to play an active role in drug and alcohol rehab by attending weekly group sessions in the Los Angeles area. Many families choose to continue therapy sessions on a regular basis after treatment. We utilize the Twelve Step program to help our clients achieve sobriety. At the Gooden Center we embrace our clients spirituality and encourage their traditions.

Over 8,000 men have become alumni to the Gooden Center since it’s inception in 1962. We encourage our alumni to be an active part in supporting current patients by sharing their experience. We offer free weekly after care sessions for any alumni that would like to attend. It is our mission to show men that they can live a productive and promising life free from drug and alcohol addiction.
