For 45 years our mission has been simple: Provide a caring, structured, no-nonsense program of recovery for those who have a desire to get and stay clean and sober. Since 1969, Impact has been serving adult men and women who struggle with the powerful force of addiction, no matter their circumstances or ability to pay. The Impact Program has introduced thousands of individuals and their families to a clean and sober life in recovery.

In our 45 years of providing treatment, Impact has served 16,000 people. We value the shared experience of recovery from addiction, which is why 85% of our full time staff are graduates of Impact.

Impact is a community based non-profit organization. We offer affordable rates, a sliding scale for those who qualify and Drug Medi-Cal funding for outpatient services is available. We are serious about providing access to treatment to those who seek help.

Addiction is a multidimensional disease and so is our treatment. Impact offers a therapeutic blend of compassionate care, common sense treatment goals and evidence-based therapies and counseling techniques.

In our experience, meaningful early recovery has a greater chance when supportive housing, referrals to vocational and employment resources and strong peer support are in place.

Once a client, you’re part of our family for life. Our community of recovered addicts help each other stay clean and sober one day at a time.
