Dear valued community friends and families, Operation Samahan has been on the front lines keeping our community families healthy, whole and intact since 1973. We have been working hard to help address our community’s high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, obesity, asthma, premature pregnancy deaths and many other chronic diseases in an effort to help improve the quality and length of life for community families who have loved ones fighting these and other chronic diseases.

More than thirty years later, what started as a community project initiated by Filipino community volunteers turned into a multi-service family health and multi-service center serving low-income families and individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds—Latinos, Filipino, Laotians, Asian and Pacific Islanders, African-American, Caucasians and refugees from the Middle East and other countries.
