Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and therapeutic interventions, to provide a patient focused approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.

SOAP MAT is located in Oceanside, California at the Tri City Medical Park, adjacent to Tri City Hospital, servicing both coastal and inland communities.

SOAP MAT, LLC operates as outpatient clinic designed for persons addicted to the opioid class of drugs, including prescription pain medications and heroin. Prescription drug abuse and opioid addiction impact millions of Americans each year. You and/or your loved one are not alone in fighting this debilitating disease.

Addiction impacts not only the health and happiness of those facing addictions, but also the entire network of concerned friends, family members and loved ones. Addiction is recognized as a chronic disease by the World Health Organization, the American Medical Association, the National Institute of Drug Addiction, the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and many others. Addiction has been clinically proven to be managed with appropriate medication and counseling.  SOAP MAT’s opioid addiction treatment program provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines the use of pharmacologic interventions with substance abuse counseling to help patients achieve their goals.

SOAP MAT aims to enhance and promote the quality of life for all patients served through the harm reduction model.  The priority is to stabilize each patient, individually, by providing medically monitored treatment combined with psychosocial rehabilitation services in our safe and clinically supportive environment. Patients are enrolled into a comprehensive program, which includes individual counseling to address medical, psychological, and social needs in addition to chemical dependence.

SOAP MAT combines therapeutic interventions and medication to treat substance use disorders through a holistic approach to patient care.  A multidisciplinary team and integrated scope of treatment services allow patients to make positive changes in their lives.  Most importantly, SOAP MAT promotes an atmosphere where patients are treated with dignity and respect.  The team fosters an environment where patients feel welcome and comfortable so that they can thrive maximally in their recovery.
