MHS Teen Recovery Center (TRC) provides outpatient substance abuse services to adolescents, offering counseling, education and support. All our services are appropriate to the level of care necessary for our young clients to successfully address their issues.

We partner with North Inland School Districts and now have two Satellite locations as well as our main location in order to serve our area more efficiently. We have Day Care Habilitative (DCH) as well as Outpatient Drug Free (ODF) services which allow a personal, focused, client centered, evidence based approach. We feel treatment must be based on the presenting client’s appropriate level of care. We include role playing of current life skills, social and educational support, and how addiction effects all areas of a person and their families’ lifestyle.

We recognize that drugs and alcohol affect the entire family. Our program is designed to offer young adults the opportunity to learn and to make the changes needed to survive drug abuse, as well as to support the entire family and assist them in learning new directions and happier lifestyles.

Our program offers the following services for teens, families, and the community:

We serve youth between the ages of 12 – 17, who are struggling with substance abuse, addiction, and co-occurring issues, and who live in San Diego County’s North Inland Region (Bonsall, Palomar, Valley Center, Escondido, San Marcos, Rancho Bernardo, Rainbow, and Neighboring Communities).

Also, MHS Teen Recovery Center has satellite services in Ramona and in San Marcos.

Parents who are interested in enrolling their adolescent in TRC should contact the program at (760) 744-3672. Referrals can also be made through probation, schools, and other treatment providers.
