Child & Family Guidance Center Addiction Services, Inc. (Step One) is dedicated to providing family oriented, quality, time limited, cost-effective treatment programs to chemically dependent persons and their significant others.

Step One is committed to delivering services that are unique in the Mid-Hudson Region in terms of quality, completeness, flexibility, availability, and sensitivity to special populations. All clinical and administrative services are to have an emphasis on meeting the highest professional and ethical standards.

Step One services are goal oriented, time limited, and include a carefully planned combination of educational, individual, group, and family services. The services rendered to each client will be tailored to the individual?s specific needs.

Step One clinic programs and administrative services are designed to assure quality services. Each component is carefully designed to meet the goals of participants. Participant feedback and follow-up will assure that each component is continuously upgraded to take account of goals and long term treatment outcome.

Step One programs are family oriented. We understand that chemically dependent behavior patterns are interactive, causing dysfunctional family behavior patterns. Step One makes family oriented therapy available to all program participants. Step One believes that multigenerational family and social network involvement is important to intervention, treatment and recovery.
