Sand Castle Contest - 25 tons of sand is being delivered and separated into 1 ton piles. 25 teams to enter the contest at no cost. First 25 teams can sign up at the North Shore Gate. Bring your skills and tools! There are two age divisions - 5-12 years old and 13 to adult. Contestants will win awesome Lake Gregory recreation passes and other fun outdoor items! 

The San Bernardino County Library invites you to join us at the Hesperia Branch Library as we let our constructive imaginations run wild at this Block Party event!  Build an amazing experience as you get the chance to meet and greet characters from the Lego Movie!  Don’t forget your camera!  Show off your creativity as you build a Lego car and race against your fellow building block engineers on a custom racetrack.  Plus, enjoy a variety of fun-filled crafts, a balloon artist, and more! 

This event is another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read. The Block Party event will take place on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Be certain to bring your library card, as every 15 items checked out during the event earns you 10 minutes of playtime in our Jumbo Block Building Room and an opportunity drawing ticket for a chance to win awesome incentives!  All activities are free and open to all ages.

Regular City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5:00p.m. (closed session) and 6:00p.m. (open session) at the City of Redlands, City Council Chambers, 35 Cajon, Ste 2, Redlands and at such other times as special meetings may be called. Should a regularly scheduled Council meeting fall on a holiday, the meeting shall be conducted the next regular business day.

September 11th will mark the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took the lives of 2,996 Americans. At the County of San Bernardino, we stand together and remember each one of these lives that were tragically lost, and remember our first responders that heroically stepped forward in wake of such a tragedy.

Lytle Creek residents will have the opportunity to talk to County planners about the future of their community from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12 at the Lytle Creek Community Center, 14082 Center Road. This is the first workshop being held to develop a Foundation Plan for Lytle Creek. The final workshop will be held at the same time and place on Monday, Nov. 7.

Mt. Baldy residents will have the opportunity to talk to County planners about the future of their community from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the Mt. Baldy Village Church, 6757 Bear Canyon Road. This is the first workshop being held to develop a Foundation Plan for Mt. Baldy. The final workshop will be held at the same time and place on Monday, Nov. 14.
