The Awareness Group provides alcohol and drug education and treatment programs, and is the oldest program of its kind in the Desert area of Riverside County. Founding director Howard Bibby's principles and knowledge in dealing with impaired drivers are maintained by a dedicated staff of professionals. We continue to raise awareness about the dangers and potential consequences of driving under the influence as well as general drug and alcohol use or abuse. We have over 30 years of experience with the DUI process and will help you fulfill your Court and Department of Motor Vehicles obligations. Awareness Program DUI classes help to satisfy the court requirements for clients who have been arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) or an offense requiring a Drug Diversion (PC1000) program. Program staff work closely with the Department of Motor Vehicles to provide the paperwork for clients to restore their driver's licenses. All counselors are State Certified, and all programs are licensed by the State of California and approved by Riverside County. The Awareness Group provides these required programs in a supportive and friendly environment. Showing respect for each individual's dignity and acting with professionalism are at the core of program services. Programs are designed to meet the needs of individuals, helping them make a lifestyle change in addition to meeting their court requirements. We have two offices to better serve the Desert communities of Bermuda Dunes, Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells, Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Thousand Palms, and Thermal. Programs Offered: All programs must be attended in person; the State of California does not allow online DUI classes   DUI School (Palm Springs and Indio)
