The New Foundation (TNF) is a community-based non profit organization providing behavioral health and education services for children throughout Arizona. The  youth served in our programs have lives and family relationships that are in crisis. The leadership, staff, volunteers and board members provide opportunities for young people to move past their challenges and find the support and personal strength to make life changes needed to create safety, stability and NEW FOUNDATIONS for successful futures.

Behavioral Health Services: We have both residential programs (where youth live on our campus) and out-patient programs (half day programs where youth return home at night) for youth, ages 11-17, who are struggling with mental health or substance abuse challenges. The care is based in adolescent developmental research and addresses the needs of each individual child and family. We are committed to providing the care the child needs to be part of a healthy and safe family. Youth in our programs are provided daily counseling, therapy, nursing and education services.

Education Services: TNF provides accelerated education services through the Marion Burton School for the children and youth enrolled in residential care. These services are provided to all children in residential care and some children in out-patient care. Education services focus on meeting Arizona’s Common Core Standards in the primary subjects to enable children and youth to rejoin their age-appropriate peers upon returning to the community and community schools.

Through our broad program offering, clients can move through various levels of care while working consistently with the same clinicians, therapists, care givers, or teachers.

The New Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for youth and families by providing therapeutic behavioral health and education programs.

TNF is fortunate to have great community partners invested in helping to support the children and youth who are served by our organization.
