A Trusted Drug & Alcohol Addiction Treatment Program Located in Prescott & Scottsdale, AZ

Decision Point Center is an Arizona drug and alcohol treatment program that takes a modern, contemporary approach to treating men and women plagued by addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. Our state-of-the-art rehab programs have been certified by The Joint Commission – a crowning achievement for any treatment center – and cover a full range of care from in-depth assessments to medical detox to multiple residential programs to intensive outpatient care. Our staff includes the field’s best and brightest and our evolved, non-punitive approach has been proven effective. Plus, we offer 12-Step and Non-12-Step based programs for those desiring a different path to recovery. Please call 877-772-3648 today and let us answer your every question and quickly verify your insurance coverage. It truly is different at Decision Point. Let us tell you how.

There are over 22 million adults in the U.S. who qualify for help with substance abuse or dependency but do not seek it. Why? Because they either don’t think they have a problem, things haven't gotten bad enough, or, more often than not, they consider “rehab” a joke and refuse to spend thousands of dollars in fees or deductibles, or use their insurance on a program that knows only one rigid way to approach their problem.

At Decision Point, we employ M.D. psychiatrists, nurses, doctoral-level psychologists, nurse practitioners, masters-level licensed therapists, trauma specialists, education and career experts, and people who have gotten sober through a varietyof approaches. We also employ people who have never had a problem with substances but are committed to, and talented at helping others. And yes, we are Joint Commission Accredited.

I have worked in this field for almost 25 years and can tell you with confidence that Decision Point is much different from other “rehabs”. In fact, our Arizona license categorizes us as a Behavioral Health Program for a reason. We are not one of those places your loved one checks into and gets a one or two-dimensional approach administered by people trying to convince them they are drug addicts and that this one way of doing things is the only way. For a generation now, our friends and loved ones, neighbors and co-workers, celebrities and strangers have been flat out failed by so many drug and alcohol treatment centers. It’s frustrating to see so-called “leaders” in the field taking the same old approach that hasn’t worked. They tell you “we meet your (son, daughter, wife, husband, brother, sister, etc.) where they are at.” But how can that be when they don’t conduct proper assessments, evaluations and do the hard work of listening and getting to know the individual?

This is why we created the field’s first 15-Day Residential Assessment and Evaluation Program designed to thoroughly assess client’s issues. Grief, loss, and trauma, either before or as a result of using drugs or drinking, are not uncommon. Depression, anxiety, and bi-polar disorder also play a contributing role. We help you figure out what’s going on in your life and aid in getting you where you want to go.

At Decision Point, we have fundamentally changed the way “rehab” works. And we don’t “bait and switch”. If you don’t need to be here after two weeks, you go home with some individual therapy and other solid experiences along with testing results and a suggested treatment plan. We individualize our programs. We have detox if you only need that. And we have 45 and 90- day residential programs.

We are not a lock down. You can use your cell phone during non-therapy time. We want our clients to reconnect with who they are. Find themselves again. Deal with their hang ups, issues, and addictions, if that's what's going on. Our clients are talented and unique people who are struggling. That is how my staff and I view our clients. Come for a tour. Meet therapists. Go home and think about it. Call us back. Ask questions. Ask more questions. Get better. Be better. Choose your future then grab onto it and don’t let go. We have chosen to be better. I hope you will join us and do the same for your own life.

We identify clients’ problems, not label them as “addicts”. The conditions that many of us may believe to be addiction are, in fact, varying degrees of “substance use disorder” and are very often accompanied by co-occurring and underlying mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. Addiction to drugs or alcohol is a destructive and chronic disease and should be treated like any other chronic illness; with compassion, aggressive treatment, and realistic expectations of long-term management. Our culture must eliminate the stigma associated with addiction and stop labeling all substance use disorders as addiction. At Decision Point, we understand that each client is facing a unique set of problems and situations. We use a 15-day Comprehensive Assessment to identify your unique set of conditions so that we can understand their causes and develop individualized treatment. By refusing to assume that everyone who comes to rehab is an addict, we create the opportunity for more effective treatment and lasting change.

Seeking help takes courage, and starting rehab can be difficult. But the lasting benefits of getting mentally and physically healthy, stopping the damaging cycle of misuse and stagnation, and learning to actively engage in positive, independent living tremendously outweigh the temporary relief of escaping through substance use. Here, we focus on your biggest picture. Through comprehensive assessment we come to understand the real issues keeping you from the health you need and the life you want. Together, we develop a plan that addresses body, mind and spirit and defines a goal for success and a roadmap that takes you there.
