Don’t let anything stand in the way of getting your health back. The start of my treatment was incredibly difficult to overcome but it does get better!

Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital is designed to provide a safe and structured environment for short-term crisis stabilization. People having significant depression, anxiety, thought disturbances, hallucinations, suicidal ideations or addiction may need inpatient care. Our team of psychiatrists, medical doctors, master’s level social workers, nurses, dieticians and behavioral health technicians (BHTs) use a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment. Individualized treatment plans are tailor fit to meet each person’s unique needs. The average length of stay varies by patient with the goal of the earliest possible return to the community for continued treatment.

Sonora also offers flexible outpatient programs for adults in the form of Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Both programs were designed for individuals who require more therapeutic treatment than conventional outpatient psychiatric services offer. These programs are the perfect choice for a step-down transition following a behavioral health hospital stay or as an alternative to inpatient care. Patients return home each evening and must have adequate support and safety in their environment.

Crises are unpredictable. That is why Sonora’s Patient Services Helpline, at 520-469-8700, is staffed 24 hours to answer questions from referring clinicians and potential patients. If you or a loved are in immediate danger, please dial 9-1-1.
