Free Counseling for Youth

Youth Services has been serving youth and their families in the Greater Salt Lake area for 40 years. Our services include shelter care for youth from birth to age 18, counseling, crisis therapy, substance abuse treatment and mental health services, juvenile receiving centers, after school programs, life skills through prevention classes, and 24/7 residential, and housing options for young adult’s ages 18-21 that qualify. Providing Spanish speaking therapists to youth and their families. Services are FREE and/or accept Medicaid. Youth Services also assists with Medicaid enrollment.La División de Servicios para Jóvenes ha servido a jóvenes y a sus familias en Salt Lake y sus alrededores por más que 40 años. Nuestros servicios incluyen amparo de emergencia para niños desde infancia hasta los 18 años, consejería, terapia de crisis, tratamiento para el abuso de alcohol y drogas, terapia para trastornos de salud mental, centros de refugio juvenil, programas después de la escuela, destrezas por clases preventivas y vivienda para adultos de edades 18-21.   Nosotros proveemos, a nuestros clientes, terapeutas quienes hablan Español (Castellano). Servicios se ofrecen SIN COSTO y/o aceptamos Medicaid. División de Servicios para Jóvenes también ayuda a quienes desean aplicar para Medicaid. 

Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams will acknowledge key partners who have supported the expansion of the Milestone homes at an open house event on March 30th at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sandy. The purpose of the event is honor the community partners and donors who made the expansion possible, as wells as bring community awareness to the program.

National Safe Place Network (NSPN), and Salt Lake County Youth Services, is pleased to announce March 20-26, 2016 as National Safe Place Week. The nationally recognized week serves to increase awareness about the Safe Place program, which brings together businesses and volunteers to provide help and safety for youth facing abuse, neglect, bullying or serious family problems.
