An ongoing support for a sober life focused on mental health and substance abuse treatment, this program is targeted toward individuals that are in their final phases of transitional treatment, or those who do not require inpatient care.
New Roads offers a therapeutic recovery center for young adults facing substance abuse, mental health concerns, behavioral and other psychological challenges.
Dr. Kevin McCauley conducted a study of 529 days with 24 residents of the New Roads treatment program in 2013 that saw an abstinence rate of 99.6 sober days out of 100. Of those who graduated from the residential treatment center, 95% were drug and alcohol free. All residents who relapsed returned immediately and successfully reestablished their sobriety.
Just when all hope was lost, I walked into these doors, and found a new will to live without drugs. I could never imagine this day would ever happen. Thank you to the therapists, thank you to the mentor staff, and thank you to my peers! I have found what it actually means to live a full life without the darkness of drugs.
