In October 2014, CACOST was awarded $5,000 from Direct Energy via its Reduce Your Use For Good grant program! The Reduce Your Use For Good grant assists nonprofits with becoming more energy efficient so they can lower their energy bills. With the funds provided by Direct Energy, CACOST was able to purchase a new energy efficient A/C system at a site in Alice, TX. The site is a kitchen used to prepare daily meals
