Domestic violence is abuse committed by a spouse, a former spouse, a fiancee, a boyfriend or girlfriend, and a cohabitant upon another individual. It is estimated that a domestic violence act occurs every 15 seconds somewhere in the United States. That figure translates to over 2.5 million victims per year. This abuse affects the lives of the victim and the children who live within the boundaries of these abusive relationships.

Animal abuse has many faces and comes in many forms. It’s a dog in a puppy mill producing litter after litter of puppies. It’s an elephant or tiger forced to perform for a circus crowd. A rooster thrown into a pit and made to fight to the death. It may even be a pet in your neighborhood, which is mistreated or doesn’t get enough food, water, or attention. In short, it’s any behavior that’s harmful or life-threatening to an animal.

Parenting is continual process of learning and adjusting to the individual needs of each child it is not a one size fits all approach. At each stage of your children’s development they have limitations on what they can do, on what they are learning to do and what they have already mastered. 0-2 year old is centered on understanding the world from what they can see, feel, touch, hear and smell.
