LifeBridge helps adults, youths, and families by providing the tools that strengthen their ability to cope, adapt, and overcome challenges. Our comprehensive services support people struggling with personal issues, family challenges, domestic violence, trauma, loss, and unemployment. We operate the only walk-in behavioral health clinic in the Greater Bridgeport area.

FAIRFIELD FACILITY 125 Penfield Road, Fairfield, CT

In April 2016, LifeBridge merged with Fairfield Counseling Services Inc. (FCS). FCS became a part of LifeBridge’s behavioral health program, and will continue to operate under its current name at the same location on 125 Penfield Road, P/203-255-5777 F/203-259-9673. Both organizations share a commitment to providing a comprehensive range of high-quality behavioral health services for adults, adolescents and families. Office hours are Monday – Thursday 8am-9:00pm, Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

BRIDGEPORT FACILITY 475 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport, CT

This program offers: Walk-In clinic for mental health services, intake and assessment, crisis intervention, trauma-focused treatment for children, individual and family counseling, group therapy, medication management, and inter-agency and community resource referrals. Bilingual services available.

Domestic Violence offers mental health sessions, specifically for survivors of emotional, physical, financial, or sexual abuse by a partner and children who have witnessed Domestic Violence in the home. Other services include: parent and child interventions in family therapy, parenting skills training, help to develop a social network and referrals for emergency shelter, legal help, and other specialized services.

PRS is a community-based program that uses a comprehensive, recovery-oriented approach that integrates treatment, support, and rehabilitation. Our primary goal is to assist individuals with psychiatric disabilities achieve successes that lead to enhanced independence and self-sufficiency. This process that emphasizes learning and skill building is divided into two categories: Community Support Program (CSP) and the Recovery Pathway (RP) teams.

PEP consists of court-mandated classes designed to educate adults about the many issues children face when their family situation changes. Participants are trained about how to help their children adjust in a healthy way to divorce or living away from a parent. The program includes information about children’s developmental stages, cooperative parenting, conflict management, guidelines for visitation, and stress reduction for children.

LifeBridge offers a comprehensive Medical Case Management system of care for people infected and affected by HIV disease, and delivers these services in a relevant manner, considering clients’ ethnicity, culture, level of understanding, and lifestyle. Persons are greeted in a warm and caring manner and confidentiality is always respected and assured. Client empowerment is realized through support, resource awareness, and advocacy.

The Empowering People for Success program (EPS) is a statewide welfare to work program of the Connecticut Council of Family Services Agencies. The program is designed to assist current and past recipients of TANF-Temporary Aid for Needy Families achieve self-reliance and healthy inter-dependence through intensive, solution focused case management and care coordination that identifies and reduces the effects of barriers to sustained employment.
