Individuals with abuse/addiction issues can obtain treatment in our Intensive Outpatient Programs while continuing to work and live in their home community.

Group and individual counseling, educational lectures and 12-Step program philosophy are the cornerstones of our program. An individualized approach to treatment and small group settings allow the patient to explore personal issues which contribute to the cycle of addiction. Family members are included in weekly Family Groups. Together, the family members and patient address issues central to a healthy recovery.

Our Intensive Outpatient Programs provide:

La Hacienda’s Solutions provides a number of treatment modalities to facilitate recovery from chemical dependency. Based on the belief the disease of chemical dependency can be treated, educational lectures, process groups, and individual counseling provide the cornerstone for the Intensive Outpatient Program. We provide individuals with the opportunity to increase confidence, build self-esteem and utilize 12-Step group support.

The Collegiate Program is specifically designed to treat adults ages 18-24 with substance abuse issues. Each individual is assessed to ensure the appropriate level of care is provided. Our curriculum is designed to develop and enhance skills necessary to live a chemical free life.

Many chemically dependent individuals successfully find recovery from their disease and go on to live healthy, happy and productive drug-free lives. However, for some, relapse and sometimes chronic relapse, is a reality of their path to recovery. For those individuals a different focus and approach to treatment may be needed.

The Genesis Program at La Hacienda’s Solutions is specifically designed for individuals who are in need of outpatient transitional services and/or relapse prevention programming. This program is designed to help the patient explore attitudes and behaviors which foster relapse and to develop new skills to intervene in the relapse process before they move back into active addiction.

We believe that individuals who have successfully completed inpatient/residential care can also benefit from gaining an understanding of relapse, relapse warning signs and craving management.

The program is Twelve-Step oriented, addresses the spiritual aspects of recovery, and focuses on integration into the Twelve-Step fellowships along with La Hacienda Alumni Support groups. The frequency, scope, content and duration of treatment is determined on an individual basis. Family members are encouraged to attend.

La Hacienda’s Solutions offers a program specifically designed for the patients’ family members. Often feelings of anger, depression, and hopelessness are common to those who love the chemically dependent individual. La Hacienda’s Solutions’ Family Program provides a forum for family members and significant others to address issues central to healthy relationships. In a safe, caring environment, family members can begin to explore healthy communication patterns, heal relationships, and learn how to rebuild their lives on a foundation of recovery. Through education classes, and group and individual counseling, family members gain new skills. Multi-family groups allow family members and patients the opportunity to draw on the strength of the group, and the ability to identify “real life” solutions to difficult problems.

La Hacienda’s Solutions is dedicated to providing patients with a number of treatment modalities to facilitate recovery from chemical dependency.

For some individuals, inpatient treatment is necessary. When that is the case, La Hacienda Treatment Center, in Hunt, Texas is there to offer a full continuum of services. These services include: medical detoxification, inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization and family program. We also refer to other treatment facilities when these levels of care are indicated.

Our objective is to provide the most appropriate level of care in a cost-effective manner. For some, our intensive outpatient program meets their need, as primary treatment or as a continuation of treatment from a residential setting. Our professional staff assesses, diagnoses, and develops a treatment plan to maximize the recovery possibilities from chemical dependency and the problems that are common to the disease.

Individuals who have an alcohol or other drug addiction may require detoxification to accomplish a safe withdrawal and allow for full participation in the outpatient program. Through the initial assessment process, the need for further medical screening may be identified. With this in mind, the counseling staff works closely with the Medical Director.

If there is a need for further evaluation for other conditions, La Hacienda’s Solutions’ staff will refer to competent professionals for medical evaluations, psychiatric screenings, medication management, or additional testing.

When the initial phase of treatment is complete, ongoing involvement in recovery activities is essential. Continuing care assists the patient who is integrating the principles established in treatment into daily living.

In preparation for discharge, the treatment team will make recommendations for ongoing care through counseling, 12 Step support, alumni meetings, and/or other services. In addition, for some stepping down from inpatient residential care, our intensive outpatient program serves as the first step in Continuing Care.

La Hacienda’s Solutions offers Alumni Support Groups for individuals and their families who have completed any of La Hacienda’s programs. This group meets each week to assist and support our Alumni with their continued sobriety. These groups also plan special events throughout the year.
