Stephen F. Austin Community Health Center (SFACHC) was established in 2008 to help provide healthcare services for the Alvin Community. The year 2010 was a big year for SFACHC, we initiated our Women’s Health Program, opened our Dental Clinic and also started our Behavioral Health Department. In 2011 SFACHC then began providing psychiatric services to residents in the county. With the expansion of services in Alvin, we soon began to see the need for services in other areas. In 2013 we launched our second site located in Freeport, Texas. The Freeport Community Health Center provides Adult Medicine, Women’s Health, OB/GYN, Mental Health and minor and major restorative dentistry services.
