The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Bismarck is for patients who need intensive treatment for their emotional or behavioral problems but do not require hospitalization. Patients in this program learn coping skills so they can still live at home, work and be an active member of society. The PHP helps patients treat and manage their personal struggles aggressively through individual and group therapy.

We offer intensive group-based treatment for adolescents (ages 12-18) and adults with serious emotional symptoms and/or negative behaviors.  The program offers a multi-disciplinary team approach that consists of a psychiatrist, licensed addiction counselor, licensed social worker, professional counselor, occupational therapist and psychiatric nurse.

From depression and anxiety to addictions, the Partial Hospitalization Program helps patients treat and manage their personal struggles aggressively, without the need for full hospitalization.  This is important because it allows the patient to receive treatment and learn coping skills and still live at home, work and be an active member of society.

The facility is a home-like building, separated from CHI St. Alexius Health but still on its campus.

The chemical dependency program is designed to treat individuals with chemical dependency and emotional issues. The program offers tools to assist with mental and emotional stabilization, balance and a clean and sober lifestyle. The program includes a family program once a week to offer education and support to our patient's family members. Intensive outpatient and aftercare programming are available.

Children and Adolescents - Monday through Friday - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.Adults - Monday through Friday - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
