Equine therapy is one of the most effective ways to treat troubled young girls. Working with horses encourages young girls to repair relationship building skills and can foster positive attributes such as commitment, responsibility and respect.

The issues facing young girls during adolescence are different from those that boys are confronted with. White Horse Ranch believes that our all girl program offers just the right environment to help troubled young girls overcome their struggles.

White Horse Ranch helps girls develop and internalize positive core values according to the Cowgirl Guide To Living. The Cowgirl Guide To Living is a back-to-basics style code of ethics inspired by a simpler time. Troubled girls develop a healthy sense of self when they have a strong, positive code to live by.

White Horse Ranch is a Licensed Residential Treatment Facility with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and Certified as a Residential Treatment Facility by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services.

Certified by the International Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, White Horse Ranch (1-866-492-8774) provides the latest and most innovative form of therapeutic interaction with horses, also known as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. White Horse Ranch has been awarded the highest available level of excellence for a residential treatment facility -- a three year Accreditation by the International Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

White Horse Ranch provides a healing place for girls ages 12 to 18, specializing in Co-Occurring Disorders, which often result in substance abuse, addictions, or other types of risky behaviors. We are the only Residential Treatment Facility in the State of Oklahoma designed exclusively for girls, utilizing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Our licensed Therapeutic staff encourages positive life changes within each girl, helping her to improve her present life situation, and hopefully the life of her future generations.
