The Human Service Agency, located in Watertown, SD, is unique to South Dakota. We are the only Community Support Provider and Mental Health Counseling Center located within one agency. Annually, we serve more than 2000 people experiencing a wide range of life struggles. We supply services to individuals with developmental disabilities; those struggling with chemical and gambling addictions; people diagnosed with a mental illness; and to individuals coping with a depressed mood, anxiety, marital stress, co-occurring disorders or other life stresses.
The Human Service Agency is divided into two divisions: Behavioral Health, which administers counseling and other mental health services, and New Horizons, which directs programs and services for the developmentally disabled. Our counselors in the Behavioral Health area are caring and highly trained in their various fields of expertise. Our New Horizons staff makes it their mission to improve the life experiences of the developmentally disabled and all staff members are dedicated to that goal. Behavioral Health hours of operation are: Mon - Thurs until 8 PM. and Friday until 5 PM.
