Health Partnership Clinic Acquires Shawnee Mission Pediatric PracticeAdds to Existing Presence in Johnson County

Olathe, KS (June 30, 2016) Health Partnership Clinic (HPC) has acquired the long established Shawnee Mission, Kan. pediatric practice of Annette M. Grundmeier, M.D., effective July 1, 2016. Dr. Grundmeier is retiring on June 30. The practice has an annualized volume of approximately 3,000 pediatric encounters. Terms were not disclosed. However, HPC has retained all the employees.

Hibba Haider, M.D., a pediatrician with HPC, will begin to see patients on Tuesday, July 5. The pediatric and adolescent medicine practice is located in the Shawnee Mission Medical Building at 9119 West 74th St., Ste. 210, Shawnee Mission, Kan. New, expanded office hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, and the phone number, 913-432-3334, will remain the same.

“Dr. Grundmeier has been caring for children for the last 35 years and has left an indelible mark on our community,” says Amy Falk, CEO of HPC. “We are honored and humbled to be able to continue to serve her patients and at the same time offer expanded pediatric care, including onsite lactation services as well as bilingual providers and trained professional interpreters. The location also adds to the existing presence we already have in Johnson County, which is a win win for the entire community. “

Dr. Haider is a welltrained graduate of Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women, in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her residency at KU Medical Center and most recently worked at Turner House Children’s Clinic and KVC Hospital, Inc. Dr. Haider is excited to join the practice and continue the strong tradition of Dr. Grundmeier.

“It has been my privilege to care for so many children, and I’ve truly enjoyed sharing their growth and milestones,” Dr. Grundmeier notes. “As I move forward in my life, I know that I’m leaving my patients in good hands with Dr. Haider and HPC.”
