Bringing hope and lasting recovery to individuals and families suffering from addiction since 1993.

Based on a Therapeutic Community model, Palmetto Addiction Recovery Center is helping people learn to live addiction free. During a one to three month residential treatment stay, our campus offers residents a special opportunity for community support. Under the guidance of counselors, denial is broken down, self-disclosure begins, changes in behavior and thinking occur, and long-term sobriety skills are taught.

Palmetto provides a special addiction recovery program to meet the specific needs of impaired professionals including physicians, nurses, dentists, chiropractors, veterinarians, pharmacists, attorneys, and more. Palmetto's addiction recovery therapy and education in this program focus on work addiction, fiscal recovery, and relationships in the workplace.

Our five outpatient programs are located throughout Louisiana in Monroe, Shreveport, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and Metairie, and we have provided care for people from all around the country. Our Intensive Outpatient program can serve as a primary treatment or a transitional treatment following a residential stay.
