Ozark Center, an integral component of Freeman Health System, provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adults and families in the four state area.

Ozark Center, an entity of Freeman Health System, was recently named the 2016 Outstanding Performer for Housing Development by Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health.

To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the May 22, 2011, tornado, two butterfly sculptures were unveiled at Freeman Hospital West and Bill & Virginia Leffen Center for Autism. More than 20 large butterfly sculptures have been placed around the Joplin community as a symbol of growth and transformation.

Developed in direct response to the May 22, 2011, tornado, the app provides guidance on age-appropriate communications about natural disasters with preschool, school-aged and adolescent children.

Dr. Graves is the Ozark Center Medical Director for Outpatient Psychiatry. He has been practicing child and adolescent psychiatry since 1998.

The Bill & Virginia Leffen Center for Autism, developed in consultation with the Cleveland Clinic Autism Consultime Group, serves children birth to age 21 and families. The center offers child-centered diagnostic, treatment and education services.

Ozark Center – always on the forefront of innovative behavioral health solutions – recently added two high-tech treatment options to help people deal with issues such as generalized anxiety issues, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Through virtual reality exposure therapy and biofeedback, Ozark Center addresses some of the biggest challenges facing the community today and reaches out to individuals who might be reluctant to complete a more traditional course of therapy.
