Here at White Sands Treatment Center, we believe that addiction is a complex disease, which requires a comprehensive approach to treatment. Our multifaceted, individualized programs treat each client’s physical symptoms, along with any underlying psychological issues that may have contributed to their substance abuse. By healing the whole person, White Sands gives clients not only a chance to achieve sobriety, but the chance of a lasting recovery.

At White Sands, a team of board-certified medical professionals oversee the process of detoxification from drugs or alcohol. Patients are monitored 24/7 and administered the medications necessary to ease potentially dangerous withdrawal symptoms.

Inpatient rehabilitation requires patients to live at the facility for an average of 30 to 60 days. During this time clients undergo intensive treatment, following medical detox. Research has shown inpatient treatment to be more beneficial for serious addictions.

By moving from inpatient treatment to intensive outpatient treatment, patients will have the opportunity to gradually transition to being a productive member of society once again. These programs will involve regular, weekly visits to the treatment center.

Our alternative treatments integrate nutrition, exercise, body movements, natural pain reduction and emotional healing into our recovery programs. We incorporate both traditional methods and a holistic approach. This heals the whole person, restoring the mind, body and spirit.
