Florida Center for Recovery (FCR) is a reputable, fully licensed and result oriented private rehab center providing alcohol detox, drug detox, residential and outpatient addiction treatment therapy for both man and women. We also offer a unique treatment program to foster the needs of pregnant women which includes a broad spectrum of care in an effort to address all issues related to this group of women. Our comprehensive and individualized treatment plans focus on the therapeutic treatment protocol that treats the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the disease of addiction through either the 12-Step or the Non 12-Step (SMART RECOVERY) program track.

Most individuals struggling with addiction have experienced traumatic events or ordeals that at some point overwhelmed their ability to cope and perceive their place in life. Research has shown that trauma is one of the major underlying sources of addiction to drugs and alcohol. We cannot agree more with the results of the research, based on the fact that three out of five clients seeking treatment at Florida Center for Recovery (FCR) have also experienced some type of trauma in their lives. These individuals have turned to alcohol abuse, drug abuse (including prescription drugs), or have developed some type of mental disorder, such as PTSD in response to the unmanageable amount of stress they experienced.

In order to provide a comprehensive solution oriented treatment to objectively resolve trauma and treat the addiction in the life of so many who are suffering on a daily basis, Florida Center for Recovery (FCR) is offering, exclusively, the extraordinary trauma resolution expertise of Dr. Jon Connelly, the founder and the developer of Rapid Resolution Therapy® (RRT). For those who are not familiar with RRT, this is a revolutionary trauma treatment therapy which helps individuals resolve and eliminate negative emotions and destructive behavioral patterns in a time period as short as one session. RRT does not involve hypnosis or reliving of the traumatic events. During the entire treatment process clients are aware, awake and in full control of the situation.

What services, therapies, educational programs and holistic treatment do you offer?

All addiction treatment services are provided on FCR premises without any need to transport our clients to different locations for different treatments. Our campus-like facility is surrounded by lush vegetation spanning over an area of 12 acres with ample space to accommodate our treatment offices, detox center, dining halls and dormitories with separate buildings for men's residences and women's residences. In addition, we have leisure areas throughout our campus where clients can enjoy reading by the Zen waterfall, play sports and participate in organized recreational activities after daily therapeutic treatments. Since 2002 our caring and experienced staff has treated thousands of individuals suffering from substance addictions, including prescription drug addictions, process addictions (e.g. compulsive gambling), and related mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. To enhance the effectiveness of our treatment and to take into account the various personalities, backgrounds, likes and dislikes of our clients our customized addiction treatment plans utilize both traditional and holistic therapies. Our tailored background-based and personality-based treatment plans are designed to be very specific in addressing all aspects of the recovery needs of our diverse clients. As we understand, everyone's addiction issues and associated medical, psychological, family, social and vocational circumstances are unique.
