In July, 2015 the Transportation Committee appointed members to the newly formed Transit Planning Subcommittee of St. Croix County.
Our Mission of the St. Croix County Transit Planning Subcommittee is to establish an innovative and integrated public transit system for all citizens that strengthens and connects communities in St. Croix County and surrounding areas by enabling people to conveniently access services they need to pursue a fuller life.
Our Vision of the St. Croix County Transit Planning Subcommittee is to be a model transit system connecting citizens affordably to quality rural and urban life.?
The St. Croix County Transit Subcommittee is working to determine if it is feasible for transit services to meet some of the increasing travel demand between St. Croix County communities, and to communities outside our county. The study will help to determine if transit services are warranted, desired, economically feasible, what kind of trips could be served, and what type(s) of transit would best serve the public. ? ?
