The Family Enrichment Program Works intensively with low-income families and individuals to help them set goals, learn how to utilize resources and complete goals all in an effort to support them in becoming more self sufficent. This Program works to address key issues and provide supportive services to overcome barriers that stand between families and reaching self sufficiency.

Two of the RPP’s Goals are molding healthier people and building safer communities. This involves the mobilization of as many people as possible in the county. It includes support and consultation with our county coalitions and their awareness activities and events.

Under the Weatherization Program, owners and renters of mobile or standard homes can apply for insulation and energy conservation services to reduce their energy costs.

Frozen meals are delivered weekly to qualifying seniors. Elder Choices focuses on keeping seniors independent and living in their own home.

North East Arkansas Transit, or NEAT, can transport for the following needs: shopping, medical, socialization, employment, education or public services/facilities.

An important part of what CRDC does everyday is connect people with the services and information they need.

This is a program set up to help clients who are in need of food. Some offices have food in the office to hand out and some of the offices refer clients to a local food bank that has a supply of food. Clients will need proof of income and photo ID.

This is a program that is designed to help people struggling to pay their utility bills. It usually starts in January and runs through March and again in July and runs until the program runs out of funding. This program assists with both regular bills and disconnect notices. All eight counties are open five days a week.

This program is designed to help teach clients how to save on their energy consumption. It is usually taught by the local County Extension Agent. This class is usually held March through April but we can have more classes upon request.

This program is designed to help the teach families where and how their money is being spent and if there is a better way to manage it. Clients are required to participate in a 90 day budget and at the end of the budget, clients learn where they need to make changes.

We have Emergency CSBG funds that can help with emergencies up to $300.00. This could be anything from needing help replacing a blown out tire to help replacing a window that was broken. These services are only available for emergencies. This funding is limited and you can apply in all 8 counties.

In-kind donations are those that will greatly benefit the CRDC's operations or the expansion of the services it offers families and individuals in northeast Arkansas. Items may be dropped off at your local CRDC center.

CRDC relies heavily on volunteers throughout our agency. We are currently in need of volunteers in our Human Services Centers in all 8 counties. If you would like to volunteer, please call (870) 802-7100. Volunteers must complete a CRDC volunteer application, background check and drug screen. The CRDC volunteer application can be accessed by clicking the link below.

NEAT (North East Arkansas Transit) is also looking for volunteer drivers in all 8 NEAT service counties. NEAT drivers must meet all driver requirements, complete background check, complete drug screen and participate in random drug/alcohol testing. For more information, please call (870) 932-0836.
