There’s something special about First Things First. You may notice it the first time you come here. This outpatient mental health clinic is focused on wellness, on the health of the whole person, the whole family system, whether it is affected by addiction, infidelity, trauma – whatever brings you here.

Our office doesn’t have a corporate feel, it isn’t glitzy or snazzy. The coffee’s on, the play therapy room is stocked with lots of toys. Our owners work here. Our licensed clinicians have specialties in anger management, addictions, couples, children, families and relationships. Some have even literally “written the book” on a subject.

We strive to be allies with people on their journeys. We’re healthy. Independent. Resourceful. Multi-layered. We care about others; we play well with them. Please join us.

Directions: Heading Eastbound on Highway 12 (Clairemont Avenue) into Altoona take a LEFT at 10th Street light, go one block take a LEFT on North Hillcrest Parkway. There will be four professional buildings on your left. We are in the fourth one at the end of the cul de sac. Winter Weather Policy - When Eau Claire/Altoona schools close due to bad weather First Things First closes too.
