Effective as of September 14, 2010, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) has become the statutory trustee of the Retirement Plan. The PBGC will now be administering the benefits payable to retirees. The PBGC will be sending a letter to each Plan Participant. Office of Graduate Medical Education and Physician Credentialing:
In order to better facilitate the verification of training and provision of professional evaluations to other institutions or state licensing boards, St. Vincent’s Office of Graduate Medical Education transferred all GME records to the Federation of Credentials Verification Service (“FCVS”) of the Federation of State Medical Boards in Dallas, effective August 27, 2010.
St. Vincent's Physician Credentialing records were also transferred to FCVS effective December 28, 2010.
