Our traditional 28-day Substance Abuse Treatment Program is for men and women age 18 and over who have alcohol and/or drug abuse problems. Harris House provides individual treatment plans for each client that typically include individual counseling plus two group meetings every morning and three group sessions every afternoon and evening.

Recognizing that people at different points in the recovery process need different levels of care, Harris House is now offering an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The Harris House IOP is designed for men and women with alcohol and drug problems who do not require more intensive levels of residential treatment.

Our Transitional Housing Level 1 Program (up to 1 year) includes subsidized housing, nutritional meals, individual and group counseling for up to one year, and is designed to provide ongoing alcohol and substance abuse treatment

Our Transitional Housing Level 2 Program (2nd year) provides subsidized housing for up to one year, with separate male and female residences. No meals are included, and clients learn to prepare meals for themselves in their residential kitchen.

For over 50 years, Harris House has helped people recover their lives from drug and alcohol addiction. We advocate a recovery with responsibility program that empowers clients to take control of their treatment and recovery process. Certified counselors guide clients in creating individual recovery plans to treat the whole person – body, mind, and spirit.

Our continuum of care recognizes that different people are at different stages of the recovery process, thus clients may enter the continuum of care at any stage. We offer a modern 28 day in patient treatment program, after which clients may continue with a residential housing program. This program provides ongoing support for up to two years, a length of stay often not found at other treatment centers. The combination of our available treatment options and ongoing support help our clients succeed in overcoming dependency.
