Good mental health is essential to living a healthy life, but many people experience problems that can interrupt their lives. Whether it is coping with an addiction to drugs or alcohol, dealing with your teen’s behavior problems, or managing ongoing depression, getting the proper treatment from a trained professional can help you get back on the right track. We are available 24/7 for triage and/or referral for anyone experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis.

Clay Behavioral Health Center has a wide range of services to treat mental health concerns and substance abuse for adults, teens, children and families in Clay County, FL. We provide outpatient counseling and treatment with certified counselors and psychiatrists, as well as on-site services in some Clay County schools. We offer walk-in services each day.

Adult services range from intervention and crisis services, to outpatient counseling, day treatment programs, group therapy, an Intensive Outpatient Program for substance abuse, medication management and Drug Court. We also offer Dual Diagnosis programs for those who have both substance abuse and mental health issues.

We also provide the Adult Crisis Alternative Program, a short-term alternative to hospitalization for people coping with a mental illness. The six-bed facility provides care and services to those who are not yet ready to be discharged home, but no longer need hospital services.

Services for teens include individual and group counseling for drugs and alcohol, as well as an intensive outpatient program, in-home counseling, and a family support group. Children’s services are designed to help emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children in Clay County schools. Individual counseling also is available on an outpatient or in-home basis.

Clay Behavioral offers support groups and community educational programs for parenting, ADD/ADHD, and substance abuse prevention. Other community-based services include life skills training, supportive housing and vocational services.
