Our mission is to protect and strengthen Long Island's most vulnerable children, seniors, families and communities.

Family & Children’s Association is one of six sites to receive $1.75 million in state funds over the next five years to provide recovery and outreach services for those who are seeking help with substance and alcohol abuse.

In a continuing effort to provide economic empowerment to its most disadvantaged millennial residents, the City of Long Beach will be partnering with FCA to offer a comprehensive training program for young adults.

Gov. Cuomo recently signed into law measures aimed at curbing the heroin and opioid epidemic across NYS. Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds, President & CEO of FCA, was one of two Long Island representatives on Governor Cuomo's Heroin & Opioids Task Force.

FCA recently held our annual Scholarship Reception where 58 of Long Island’s most gifted and talented college-bound teens were given scholarships. To date, FCA has awarded over $2 million in scholarships!
