Unfortunately, you've gotten a DUI. It's not exactly what you were looking for, but it's not the end of the world either.

If you are arrested in Illinois with a DUI, the Court will most likely order an alcohol and drug evaluation. This is to determine the extent of the defendant's use and the consequent risk to the public. This evaluation must be done before any kind of driving permit can be issued. It will also determine what kind of educational and counseling programs will be required.

Ron Partch is a graduate of Northern Illinois University holding multiple degrees. With over 25 years of counseling experience, Ron is licensed by the state of Illinois as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. With group meetings in the evenings, we can get you the counseling you need and help you get your driver's license reinstated.

When your driver's license is revoked by the state of Illinois, you must appeal to the Secretary of State to get your driving privileges reinstated. The process can be challenging, as the requirements for documentation change from time to time. We can help you assemble the proper paperwork and help you through this process. We can do your evaluation.

If you decide to receive an evaluation, please bring the following items: 1. Notice of Summary Suspension from officer. 2. Driving record from DMV (typically around $12) 3. Other tickets. 4. Anything you think might be relevant.
