Stepping Stones believes substance use disorder (addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs) is a treatable illness requiring abstinence from mood altering substances.

Participation in recovery support activities such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, and / or Narcotics Anonymous is important for continued recovery.

Family members and other concerned persons should become knowledgeable about addictions, treatment, self-help groups, recovery, and be involved in the recovery process. Furthermore, we believe that involvement in Alanon/Naranon will benefit concerned persons and their loved ones.
