Today on "Detailing Addiction with Dr. Susan Blank" my guest host is David Donaldson, CEO of the Atlanta Healing Center. Our Guest is Dr. Paul Hokemeyer, psychologist and attorney. In light of recent events, he will address the issue "Celebrities and Addiction: A Fatal Pairing?"
Dr. Paul Hokemeyer is an internationally recognized expert on treating the clinical issues that arise at the intersection of wealth, power, celebrity and behavioral health. His research has been peer reviewed and published by Lambert Academic Press and The Journal of Wealth Management. He is frequently quoted in a host of media outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, WebMD, The Johns Hopkins News Letter, The Robb Report, Private Wealth, Market Watch Self, Women's and Men's Health, London's Daily Mail and others. Dr. Hokemeyer serves on the panel of experts for the Dr. Oz Show and is a Fox News analyst. He appears regularly as an expert on a number of national news outlets including The Dr. Oz Show, Good Morning America, Fox News, CNN, and Al Jazeera America. In addition to holding a doctorate in psychology (PhD), he holds a doctorate in law (J.D.) and worked as a corporate attorney prior to becoming a psychotherapist. Dr. Hokemeyer served on the board of directors for the New York Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and received his certification as a clinical trauma professional.
