Since 1971, Alternatives has pursued our mission of facilitating personal development, strengthening family relationships, and enhancing the community's well being. Reaching 3,000 young people and their families each year, our programs focus on leadership development, prevention of violence and substance abuse, academic enrichment and counseling.

Alternatives, Inc. is committed to continuous growth and improvement in services to the youth and families we serve throughout Chicago. Over the past 43 years, we have expanded to serve thousands of youth throughout the city of Chicago, offering a crucial mix of behavioral health and youth development programs and services. Now, Alternatives is ready to enter a new era of service.
