On June 23rd MedLink Administrative Staff, Board members, Walton County Chamber members and community leaders enjoyed an open house & ribbon cutting at the new MedLink Monroe location ."Healthcare for Women". Bryan Stephens, Family Nurse Practitioner has joined the staff of MedLink Winder. Bryan received his Masters of Science in Nursing as Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgia Baptist College of nursing at Mercer, University, Atlanta Georgia and his BS in Nursing at Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah Georgia. His clinical experience includes urgent and primary care. Bryan and his family live in Dacula Georgia. We look forward to working with Bryan.

The Jackson EMC Foundation awarded MedLink Georgia a $15,000 grant to assist the corporation with furnishings for the expansion at the MedLink Colbert Office. These funds will be used to equip the new exam rooms with exam tables, side chairs, and other equipment to make the rooms safe and comfortable for patients and caregivers. The Jackson Electric Foundation's Board of Directors is responsible for distribution of funds from the Electric Cooperative's "operation Round-up" where members who get their electricity from Jackson Electric elect to "round-up" their monthly bill to provide assistance to not for profit agencies in the area. MedLink Colbert's five practitioners see an average of 100 patients each day. Last year, an addition to the building created six new exam rooms and offices which require furnishing. The $15,000 from the Jackson Electric Foundation will provide this much needed equipment so that patients can enjoy the improved patient flow and lower wait time for a room to be available. The corporation is grateful for these funds from the Foundation and for the support of the staff at the local JEMC office in Madison County.
