A half-way house’s goal is to enable its residents to ease the situation of addiction in steady increments by teaching them ways to live a full life in recovery.

When the Beacon House was built with private funds in 1996, the visionaries knew that this residential recovery facility would be “different.”

The recovery facility is a realistic situational pathway to the type of life to which the recovering person will be exposed during his or her life.
