Our mission at Real House Inc. is to change lives. It is our purpose to empower people to improve their circumstances by providing temporary housing and treatment for those suffering from drug or alcohol abuse. By offering emergency shelters, halfway houses, a Sober House and Intensive Outpatient treatment, we encourage clients to take responsibility, to become self-sufficient and free of substance abuse.

There are an estimated 10,000 homeless people in New Jersey. REAL HOUSE runs emergency shelters in the most densely populated county in the state. Conveniently located in northern New Jersey, REAL House Inc. offers a unique, tranquil treatment environment for women to work on overcoming their substance abuse issues.

By offering smaller living communities and treatment groups we allow our clients to focus on addressing the underlying issues that trigger their addiction as well as to develop strong social networks that act as support for the future.
