The Human Resources Office of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe handles all recruitment, application and job placement for individuals interested in seeking employment here. In an effort to keep costs down for curbside collection, a tribally funded program, the curbside collection list is being updated. The Planning Department will be doing a mass mailing to those currently on that list. Verification of Residence forms will be mailed Wednesday, October 12, 2016. The deadline for returning completed Verification of Residence applications will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016. The letters will be addressed to Curbside Collection Recipient. If the application is not received by Tuesday, November 15, 2016 the service will be discontinued until it is received.Read More

This 2016 -2017 School Year, the SCIT Recreation Department is going to try something new. We are developing a Peer Mentoring Program for our middle school and high school students. They will be called Youth Mentors. This is for students who want to help out in the Future Leaders Program. They must show leadership skills, and the ability to mentor students who are in grades K-6.
