Nestled in northwestern Richmond, our beautiful campus provides a quiet and peaceful environment. We provide psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment to citizens on a state wide basis. We serve adult and geriatric populations. Richmond State Hospital was founded in 1890. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and approved by both Medicaid and Medicare. We are proud of our heritage and committed to continuing our tradition of service.
