The Recovery housing program was specifically designed to meet the needs of women who have maintained a period of being clean and sober.

Located in Ross and Pike counties, our professional staff is trained to recognize and diagnose the symptoms of alcohol and chemical dependency or abuse.

We exist to help you build a foundation toward independence and sobriety. The Recovery Council provides a variety of services to clients in crisis.

At The Recovery Council, we provide quality, abstinence-based treatment while offering hope and healing to those suffering from addictions. Residential, Outpatient, and Transitional treatment for adults is available in an environment that is comfortable for our clients. Our culturally diverse team is carefully selected and composed of addiction counselors, case managers and aides, all whom are directed by clinical supervisors. We carefully coordinate a plan of treatment tailored to each client’s individual needs. We gladly accept referrals!

As longstanding members of both Ross and Pike county communities, we work closely with our network of support services. This close partnership ensures that our clients make a strong transition into society with strategies that work in their world. The Recovery Council’s experienced team stands ready for the next opportunity to make a difference. We work with various social agencies including Children’s Services, Job and Family Services, County and Common Pleas Courts, Brigdehaven, Community Action and many others.

Our extensive list of services include: in-patient care, out-patient care, transitional living programming, assistance with drug and alcohol addiction, other substance abuse treatment, mental health services, individual and group counseling, intensive outpatient programs, domestic violence counseling for men and women, life skill coaching, outreach services, educational groups, co-dependency counseling, parenting classes, anger management classes, drug testing, adolescent counseling, substance abuse assessment, substance abuse education, transportation services, and case management. Our clients typically reside in the counties of Ross, Pike, Pickaway, Fayette, and Highland, but we will accept clients from other Ohio counties.

The Recovery Council is a Contract Agency of the Paint Valley ADAMH Board and is governed by a Board of Directors as well as Community Leaders who give their time and talents to further the mission.
